Conversations with Statewide Mental Health Services Staff (Tues. 26th May)

An opportunity to share your experience as a family member or friend with staff from Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Services.
The forums are for families and friends of a person with a mental illness and are not open to service providers.
TOPIC: Hospital Avoidance Program
Tuesday 26th May (10 am to Noon) at MHFFTas, 2 Terry St, Glenorchy

Peer Work and the NDIS Induction Online Training 

MHFFTas is calling for expressions of interest from families and friends to participate in a free, online training opportunity.
Learn how to better support a someone access supports through the NDIS, with the potential to lead to paid work. Online over one week in June 2020 – dates and times to be confirmed. Using Zoom. Technical support can be provided.

Caring Fairly Covid-19 Survey

The results are in! They show the significant impact the COVID-19 outbreak has had on families and friends. 
The results will be used to raise awareness about the impact the outbreak has had on families and friends and for Caring Fairly’s ongoing advocacy to the Government to better support us.
