Spoken Cycles Winter Series
Week 10 Results (Updated)
Sunday 7th August 2022
Individual Time Trial - Goodwood

Results
Hi Everyone,

Apologies for clogging up your In Box... attached are the updated results from this morning's TT - a couple of riders were left out of the results or were inadvertently placed in the incorrect grade.

Regards
Melinda

We were grateful that the heavy rain overnight cleared in time for the final race (the race of truth, apparently)  in the 2022 Spoken Cycles Winter Series.  55  riders signed on and there were some pretty quick times with Corby Price claiming the fastest time of the day - 17.26 mins.

Results are attached and points will be uploaded to our website this week.  A big thank you to our marshals - Rob, Selwyn and Carl and many thanks to Wayne Strong for his hard work setting up, packing down and marshalling - racing couldn't go ahead without you, Wayne!  A big thank you also to Brian Fleck for his role in organising the Under 15s and we appreciate the support Brian receives from the U15 parents.

The U19 Junior Trackies head out for the Junior Worlds in Israel on the 24th of August and have two final Trade Me Auctions.  Check out the listings and give them a bit of support if you're interested in either of the auctions:

Many thanks to members who purchased tickets in their raffle - this was drawn last Sunday afternoon and the lucky winners were:  Dale Ertel, Tanja Bolli, Scott Boness, Darrin Whitehead and Jen (from Hillcrest); congratulations to you all!

Our Annual Dinner & Prizegiving is scheduled for Friday 16th Sept at the TA Sports Clubrooms on Albert Park Drive in Te Awamutu.  We'll finalise details at our upcoming Committee Meeting and the information / link for dinner tickets will be emailed out once we're all sorted.  Success will be celebrated with annual trophies and Winter Series prizes and the draw will also take place for those riders who have competed in 9 or 10 races and five members will win  Free Entry for the upcoming Summer Series.

We take a short break from racing and the updated Club Calendar of events will be confirmed and emailed out after our August Committee Meeting.  The Club Champs will probably be in September and the Summer Series generally starts in the second week of October.

Have a great week and sending loads of luck and our best wishes to our Comm Games Road Riders & our Junior World Trackies!

Regards
Melinda
