Regional Highlight: Christy Wall blogs on NM Weather

Image of clouds in NM with text 'What can I saw? I'm unpredictable!"The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Los Alamos, NM asked GLOBE Partner Christy Wall to write a paragraph on spring weather in New Mexico and it turned into a whole blog post! It is part of PEEC's initiative to encourage people to get outside, have fun, and continue to learn about nature while the schools and nature center are closed. Her post includes a link to both GLOBE and GLOBE Observer.

2020 SRS Update

Upload your report iconThe United States GLOBE Student Research Symposia (SRS) will not be held this spring due to COVID-19. The next in-person Student Research Symposia will be held in the spring of 2021, at the same locations as the 2020 events. While it is no replacement for an in-person event, we would like to honor the progress and dedication of students working this spring on SRS projects. There will be an opportunity for students to receive feedback virtually. Projects uploaded by May 3, 2020 to the GLOBE website and tagged with SRS will be reviewed by STEM professionals who will leave comments on the project page. We also invite GLOBE students to participate in the peer review process.

What if teachers/students cannot make that deadline? Can students upload projects any time? Have more questions? Please see our SRS 2020 COVID FAQ.
