Downtown SLO’s Board of Directors election is taking place now through the end of February. The Board of Directors of Downtown SLO is the governing body for Downtown SLO,  advocating for your business, and promoting an economically vibrant downtown through events, marketing, and outreach.

There are six open seats, with three current directors running for re-election. Check your email for your online ballot (the election is run through a program called ElectionBuddy) and make sure you cast your vote before February 28th!

City of SLO Mid-Year Budget Update

The City of San Luis Obispo’s mid-year budget report is now live and available for public review. At a public meeting on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, the City Council will review proposed budgetary changes that further advance adopted Major City Goals and support City services to the community.

Indoor Mask Order

SLO County's indoor mask mandate will be lifted on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, in alignment with the state of California.

The State order continues to require masking in indoor public places for those who are not vaccinated and for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, in healthcare facilities, schools, child care, homeless shelters, emergency shelters, corrections, long-term care facilities, and public transit.
