Come join Club members and neighborhood activists to talk with voters in support of Congressman Jerry Nadler.

Winner of the 2019 Hell's Kitchen Democrats Award for Outstanding Leadership, Congressman Nadler is a relentless defender of our country’s democracy and our Constitution’s fundamental promise of equality for all, proudly standing on the front lines in the fight for LGBTQ rights, women’s rights, racial justice, and the First Amendment rights guaranteeing freedom of expression and religion.

Our text bank will help people in our community register for absentee ballots and fill them in on the latest developments from the campaign.
CAN YOU HELP "VOTE BLUE" GET TO 50 DONORS?

Vote Blue, a coalition of activist groups and Democratic clubs in NYC (including Hell's Kitchen Democrats), is raising money to support campaign efforts in the fall.  To register as a federal PAC, we need 50 individual donors from around the city - and we are very close to reaching that goal.  Can you chip in to get us over the line?  Any amount helps.

Give online with a credit card at votebluenyc.org/donate.

Thank you! :-D
HELP THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE SO WE CAN VOTE SAFELY!

Did you know the USPS is on the brink of collapse?

Republicans want to bankrupt and privatize our USPS, and if something isn’t done soon, it will be out of money by this October.  New Yorkers need to vote safely in our November Presidential Election, and you can help:
  1. Go to USPS.com and buy $11.00 worth of first-class stamps TODAY!
  2. Share this on your social media to make this a national movement.
  3. Sign up HERE to help with Get Out The (Safe) Vote!  Write postcards and phone bank from home to let voters know how they can vote safely in NYS during the Covid pandemic!
As we navigate an ever-changing landscape during the Covid pandemic, NYS is making necessary changes to ensure voters are safe while participating in our election.  It will be up to us to inform our communities how to vote during the pandemic before our June 23 primary.

2020 CENSUS

The 2020 Census determines the funds for NY for the next 10 years!

NYC is at risk of losing BILLIONS of dollars (that's BILLIONS with a "B") for the next 10 years.  Federal funds that are used for hospitals, medicines, vaccines, schools, and other vital services would be severely limited.  Why?  Because New Yorkers’ response to the Census is very low (48%).  To make matters worse we could also lose 2 Congressional seats.  It's vital that we do our part.  Spread the message to friends and family.  Fill out the Census TODAY!  Here's the skinny:

Complete the brief Census form at www.My2020census.gov
NYTimes 5/23/20. Note: Colors indicate how quickly cases are doubling. Sources: State and local health agencies and hospitals.

COVID CORNER

Our future is wholly dependent on our social action.

The CDC estimates that 35% of Covid patients don't have symptoms and 40% of transmission is occurring before people feel sick. (CNN)

Here are 6 things you can do to keep you and your loved ones safe:

1) Answer your phone if you get a call from “NYS Contact Tracing” as this is part of the NYS Contact Tracing Initiative.

2) Get a diagnostics test if you meet NYS’ revised eligibility criteria.  Conduct an online screening HERE and find a nearby test site HERE.

3) If you must travel, review these NYTimes interactive Covid maps to avoid hotspots, see which counties and states have increasing or decreasing cases, read the latest news, and more!

4) If you believe your employer is not following PPE, hygiene, and social distancing guidelines, call the NY Coronavirus Hotline: 1-888-364-3065.
