Radical Sustainability Masterclass with Interface

In February we hosted an exclusive event in partnership with Interface, major corporate sustainability pioneers who are 3rd in the 2018 Globescan sustainability leaders survey. The event aimed to advance sustainability as critical to the future of business and to build our local business links in sustainability.

The 'Radical Sustainability' event involved a business masterclass with Interface as guest experts and participation from senior leaders in over 25 companies that are driving sustainability in their organisations, who interacted with the finalists of our student competition and with staff from across the university.

RCE Severn is part of a global network of RCEs endorsed by the United Nations University. The RCEs were instrumental in the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD, 2005-2014), translating its global objectives into the context of their local communities. The RCEs now support implementation of the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD which followed the DESD.
