PTSA Survey

Each year, Alcott PTSA sponsors a number of enrichment programs, events, and more for the Alcott community. All programs aim to support our students, school staff, families and broader community. We rely on community input to focus our funding strategy. Each year, we gather feedback from teachers and school staff about what areas they think could profit from extra funding. PTSA members then get to vote on the budget.

This year, we also want to get input from families. We want to know what you think are areas that are well funded, over- or underfunded. Please take 5-10 minutes to answer a few questions by using this link (http://bit.ly/AlcottSurvey)
Thank You!

Please keep in mind that the PTSA is a purely volunteer run organization. We do our best effort to address all needs but as a big school with nearly 700 hundred students/families, we cannot fund every program.

March Munch Madness Food Drive

Please help Alcott show that we CARE about our community and those in need. This year we are partnering with McAuliffe Elementary for a March Munch Madness Food Drive to benefit Pantry Packs and Hopelink. We will be collecting food items from March 11th to March 29th. Pantry Packs provides a backpack program for students in need. Every Thursday, packs are filled with kid-friendly food for the weekend. Kids (identified by school counselors) are able to take the packs home on Fridays, fill their cupboards, and return the packs on Monday to be re-filled for the next week. Each week we will be collecting different items. Of course, any item from the list is welcome!

Week 2 – March 18-22 – Peanut Butter and Jelly (plastic containers), Granola Bars, Protein Bars, Crackers, Fruit Snacks

Week 3 – March 25-29 – Mac-N-Cheese, Top Ramen, Cup of Noodle, Oatmeal Packets

Thank you for supporting our Alcott Community!
