FORTY - THREE
FUTURE LIGHT ORGANIZATION (FLO)
Over the last three years, long standing members Eleanor and Paul Wilkins, have been supporting a Cambodian, not for profit orgnisation, the Future Light Organisation(FLO) https://futurelightorganization.org/ which supports poor children, orphans, children with single parents and children who have been abandoned. FLO provides safe housing, food, clothing and school supplies as well as education opportunities.
After cancellations due to travel restrictions, Eleanor and Paul are finally visiting FLO on 18th November and are appealing for donations of children's clothes from age four to sixteen. Donated clothes can be dropped into the yacht club during opening hours and handed to any member of staff.
Paul is a Director/Trustee of a UK registered charity, Little Acorns
https:/little-acorns.org.uk/ which has recently been set up to support FLO and similar organisations in the developing world. During the period of Eleanor and Paul's visit there is a 100km sponsored walk between two of FLO's sites. Anyone who would like to donate can do so via the Little Acorns website or the following GoFundMe link https:/gofund.me/83fd4d4e
Thank you for your support.

PORT TASTING EVENING
A great evening hosted by Andy Harris from Harvey's of Lewes. He led us through the Pocas vineyards in the Douro Valley of Portugal where we got to sample two white ports, aged for three years, and which are perfect as aperitifs and then four red ports - a tawny port, an equivalent late bottled vintage port from South Africa (not all ports come from Portugal these days but cannot be called 'port'), a Pocas late bottled vintage port and the evening concluded with a 2003 Pocas vintage port. All washed down with generous cheese boards and chocolate.

AN EVENING WITH SAM HUGHES
as SIR ELTON JOHN
NOT TO BE MISSED

Sam's passion for music and performance started at school. He could often be found putting on impromptu shows and entertaining fellow students. Coupled with his love of Elton John, Sam's talents started to really blossom after leaving education as he began to develop his Tribute to Sir Elton Act, which he has now perfected. Sam has even mastered Sir Elton's unique mannerisms during his performance.

Some of his highlights to date include supporting local charity events, performing at Pride, closing a local festival and being nominated by the South East Entertainment Awards as a recognised tribute artist.
