SHYC APPEAL FOR HELP

As you are probably aware our Club is busier than ever now and whilst we are pleased with our success it does bring with it a lot of work for the volunteers involved in organising and running the Club for the benefit of the members.

With your club doing well this is a wonderful time to get involved in helping and joining others to build on the achievements to date.  It is also a great way to meet new people and gain new friendships.

Like most other organisations we need new blood with fresh ideas as well as people to help out with existing tasks. If you are interested please contact us with brief details of the areas in which you may be able to assist us or your specific skills and we will arrange to talk with you about the roles you may be able to fulfil to help your club.

With you we can be even better.

Please email vicecommodore@shyc.co.uk or talk to Les or any of the Club Officers in the bar.

Thank you

AN EVENING WITH SAM HUGHES AS
SIR ELTON JOHN

When Sam played for us this time last year we had many disappointed members who couldn't get a table so please, so that you are not disappointed this year.
BOOK EARLY
Sam's passion for music and performance started at school. He could often be found putting on impromptu shows and entertaining fellow students. Coupled with his love of Elton John, Sam's talents started to really blossom after leaving education as he began to develop his Tribute to Sir Elton Act, which he has now perfected. Sam has even mastered Sir Elton's unique mannerisms during his performance.

Some of his highlights to date include supporting local charity events, performing at Pride, closing a local festival and being nominated by the South East Entertainment Awards as a recognised tribute artist.

Sam is currently the youngest UK Sir Elton John Tribute Act at just 24 years of age. 8pm ******************
