THIRTY - FIVE
What a great day last Saturday was. The day began with Gary Mead being interviewed live on the Mark Carter Show on BBC Radio Sussex and 23 boats including both RNLI boats setting off to commemorate the Royal Sovereign Lighthouse before it is demolished. A journalist came over from BBC South East to interview Peter Burgess about the history of the lighthouse and to photograph the boats coming back into the locks which aired on the 6.50pm news. And the day concluded with a great BBQ and entertainment from The 80s Mullet Man along with Kevin Ticehurst who played member's favourite hits from the 80s and 90s.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make the day so successful and special.
So many photos have been posted on social media but here is a small selection for those of you who weren't able to be here at the weekend.
Thank you Lionel Hartley for the photos.
