Saturday, 27th August

Gary Mead is being interviewed about the flotilla at 8.10 am on BBC Radio Sussex on the Mark Carter show.

The flotilla will muster at the Outfall off Fort Fun at 10am and leave at 10.30 am. In the evening we will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Yacht Club. Kevin Ticehurst would like any of you who will be attending to send him the names of their favourite 80s or 90s songs so he can try and incorporate them on the night. Please send a selection (2 songs max. per person) to shycpowercruise@gmail.com Dig out those outfits from the back of your wardrobes from 25 years ago (optional dress theme of 1997) and let's have a party.

It's Bank Holiday weekend and the club will be open until late.
A long term and very frequent member of the club, Chris Worrall, is moving to Shropshire to concentrate on his antique's business and to be near his son and grandchildren.

DJ Keith wil be providing music from 6.30pm in the Members Bar.
Chris looks forward to saying farewell and all club members are very welcome.

Andy Mulholland will be 'kicking off' our Autumn/Winter monthly sessions with a talk on
'Cruising in the Netherlands'

The talk will be in the Royal Sovereign Suite starting at 20:00.
The talk should be around an hour long plus any Q&A, leaving plenty of
'bar time'.
The subjects for these evenings are mainly aimed at sailing members ("Mariners") but many should be of interest to non-sailing members too.
