Technical Marketing Content for Software Startups
Hey <<First Name>>,

Ever since GPT-3 came out earlier this year, I've been really excited to carve out some time to try it. In case you haven't heard of it, GPT-3 is an AI-based tool that writes "human-like" text.

I decided to give it a spin and use it to create a technical blog post last week. You can watch the video of the process on YouTube here (background vocals provided by my son, Joe).
Using GPT-3 to Write Technical Blog Posts
While GPT-3 isn't going to replace subject matter experts who can do research, connect disparate threads, and speak from personal experience, it might be a great addition to a writer's workflow. I also think it's going to spell the end of low-quality content mills in the next few years.

What do you think? Have you tried GPT-3 out yet? Will you be using it on your blog?

I look forward to hearing what you think.

These blogs are most certainly not using AI-generated content. This week, one of our writers, Piero Borrelli collected a fantastic list of software development blogs. These might be great places to pitch guest posts or model your blog after.
I'm not a designer, and I've never been great at coming up with branding or logos. Still, startups need high-quality design if they want to stand out. In this guide, I offer some of my favorite low-cost logo design tools and services for startups to get started with.
My friend, Daniel Rosehill has been freelance writing for a while now, so his thoughts on creating good briefs were really insightful. If you're looking to work with freelancers, this is a great guide.

"I don’t think the term non-technical is particularly helpful. Not as a self-description, not as a persona, and not as something we use to characterize other people."
