You know we love you here at Make it Mid-Century.  You're all our Valentines!

But before we get ahead of ourselves (after all, Valentine's Day is still almost two weeks away) let us tell you all about the hot happenings around the Make it Mid-Century shop in January!
Visit Us!
I know we're going to sound like a broken record here, but we want to remind you again about coming to see us at the 20th Century Cincinnati Show, February 24th and 25th at the Sharonville Convention Center just north of Cincinnati.  Even though we told you about the show last month, we're talking about it again because...well, that's pretty much all that we've been doing for the entire month of January - getting ready for this show!  In our booth, we'll have three exterior doors, three interior doors, a flat panel and raised panel garage door (shhh...it's really both sides of the same door), a pair of shutters and laminate samples all for you to see and feel.  The most exciting part for us has been the engineering of how to display these full-sized items in our booth and trying to figure out how to make it all fit!
Gosh, now I'm rambling.  So come and see us at booth A-22!  We can't wait to meet you.

Over on the Blog
We've had a great response to our request for interviews with mid-century Realtors across the country.  Since our last newsletter, we've published four more interviews!

Dallas, Texas

Our first interview in January was with Brandon Stewart in Dallas, Texas.  You'll love his answer to question 15, so check it out over on our blog.

Just a quick note to let you know that the artwork for Adrian Kinney's blog post came from a local Denver artist, Christian Musselman, an architectural illustrator.  Would you like a custom home portrait by Christian?  Check out his website here.

Minneapolis / St. Paul

Mid-century is different all over the country. Not a lot of flat-roofed MCM houses in the MSP area (snow, you know!)

Updates!
Our website is getting a little musty - and we have some big bugs that we can't seem to shake, so it's time for a rebuild.  Soon we will be taking down the website for a short time while we fix it right up.  If you don't get a chance to read any blog posts before we go off-line, no worries - the blog will be back and better than ever when we get back.
You'll still be able to shop with us while the website is being rejuvenated.  We'll have actual printed catalogs at the 20th Century Cincinnati Show (see what we did there - one last plug) but we'll also have a downloadable version at the temporary landing page for our website.

The best news is that when we're back up and running, we'll have our new products for purchase!
One Last Thing...
If you don't follow us on social media, you should.  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and even Google+, pick your poison!  We have new, cool stuff on our feed every day, like this gem we posted last Monday:
Buy a house, save a pink bathroom and get $25,000 AU$!  A Sydney man is selling his house and will give the buyer $25,000 if the pink bathroom is kept intact for five years.  That's just over $20,000 USD!  If you're looking for a vacation home in Australia, this is it.

“I bought the house purely based on the bathroom.  I just thought, I really want this bathroom to live.”  Hugh Miller, Owner.
If you needed any evidence that good people still exist well, look no further.

That's all for this month.  You know what we'll be doing for the rest of February - furiously working on our booth for the 20th Century Cincinnati Show.  (Darn it!  One more plug - I couldn't resist.)  Hope to see or hear from you soon - please do keep in touch!
