The 2018 Show Season Ranking Board is Up and Running!

The show season is off to a great start, with the Arizona and Texas show seasons already well under way.  We already have many winner's names on our Ranking Board! You can find out what your standing is on our Ranking Board here:
https://www.confederationwe.us/show-results/

If you wish to see your name on our rankings board, please remember that riders must be Individual Members in good standing with the Confederation and that annual High Points/Ranking Board to be determined purely based on scores from licensed Confederation shows. Eligible Scores will consist of the average percentage derived from the Dressage and Ease of Handling Scores per single competition.  All trials must be completed for the points to count.

Reports from Pennsylvania and The Rocky Mountain Horse Expos

Six days of WORKING EQUITATION, High Country Working Equitation and The Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. What a whirlwind. with an A rated show and many working equitation clinics given by Tarrin Warren.

High Country Working Equitation wishes to thank everyone who came and supported working equitation and for coming and being part of the working equitation family. The team thanks Tarrin Warrin, whose endless energy, patience, teaching style, ability to make things happen and her dedication to the Sport of Working Equitation is beyond words. They thank all the volunteers, and know that the expo couldn’t happen without them. High Country Working Equitation also thanks Nuno Matos of the Pedro Torres Academy for his dedication to his students. It is very much appreciated. And last but not least Thank You to the BOD of HCWE.  High Country Working Equitation is lucky to have such a really a great team and looks forward to an awesome 2018 for Working Equitation!

The Pennsyvania Horse Expo Working Equitation Exhibitions, demonstrations, booth and show were fantastic and the Confederation for Working Equitation was well represented. The Working Equitation Trail Challenge at the PA Horse Expo had 45 horses, and was judged by Dr. Jill Glasspool Malone and Brendan Wise. Plus, the very large audience learned all about working equitation, thanks to Randy Byer's great oratory skills during the show. He talked nonstop for 3 hours, explaining what was happening in the show ring to the audience.   Randy Byers, Brendan Wise, Dr. Rebecca Yount and Sandra Washburn had some amazing working equitation demonstrations through out the four day event.  Randy Byers did a great job pulling this all together and the whole event is sure to bring many new aficionados to working equitation in the North East.
