For the Community  By the Community

June 2018 Newsletter. Issue 130

It takes over 100 years for a natural hollow to form to allow our endangered black cockatoos to breed, but only minutes to donate towards artificial nesting boxes.

Whose been rain dancing?
Winter has well and truly started.

It's time to shake off the raincoats, get the slow cooker out of the cupboard and pencil in some Landcare SJ planting days to your calendar.

The 2018 Planting Calender is funded through the Western Australian Government's State NRM Program. This funding covers the coordination of planting sites and activities, weed control, seedlings and corflute guards to protect the seedlings from kangaroos and rabbits.
What it doesn't provide are volunteers!

So Landcare SJ would like to extend an invitation to our community members to come along and plant with us.

Have a look at which planting day works for you and call us at the Landcare Office on
(08) 9526 0012 or email to RSVP.
