Hello, Faithful Singers and Precious Community!
First, I want you to know how much I value and love your faces on the zoom screen--Your smiles, your singing (I watch your lips!), your creative ideas and messages through the chat.
Over time we actually ARE creating a sweet sense of tribe, community, family. THANK YOU, and may it continue!
Last week's Twilight and Lullabies truly lived up to its name, with three lullabies- one of which was co-led by my wonderful niece Margaret Swanson, ("Tell Me Why The Stars Do Shine") and another- "I See The Moon" turned out to be the hit of the evening if not the season! Many of you chatted that this was a favorite from childhood, and I've received your emails with lyrics and versions discovered online. There was something so tender and unifying about discovering a shared touchstone from childhood together.
Here's a link to the poem by Native American athlete Billy Mills, which several of you requested.
We'll be skipping a couple of Thursdays, due to Thanksgiving and another silent retreat first week of December. But mark you calendar for Dec. 10,
and you can register now.
