Ayatollah Javadi Amoli explained, "There are two different ways to benefit from Fatimiyah days: one may study and learn Lady Fatemah's Fadak sermon and understand it and then cry, the other one may only cry, without any understanding. Imamiyah Women and Volunteers of 'Fourteen' Organizing Series of Monthly Events in East London
Imamiyah Women jointly with the volunteers of ’ Fourteen’ are in process of organizing a series of monthly events for the ladies of Shia community in East London. On Sunday 28th January, second event of the series took place in MCE .The focus of the program was to raise awareness of last ten years of Imam Ali’s(as) life through watching the movie ‘ Shaheed-e-Kofa’ and participating in a quiz on the day of the event. The schedule of the day included an ice breaking activity to introduce each other in a fun way , a presentation about life of Imam Ali(as) by the Scholar sister Nargis Ali, written quiz, creative fun activity where participants created a scene from the movie they had watched using art & craft materials and finally announcing the the winner of the quiz. A ‘Tablet’ was given to the winner. All participants enjoyed and gave positive feed back .
Ahkaam e Mayyat Workshop Organized by Imamiyah Women and 'Fourteen' volunteers in Imamia Mission London
Imamiyah Women with the support of volunteers of ‘Fourteen’ organised a work shop about dealing a deceased body. The workshop was held on Saturday 25th November at Imamia Mission in East London.The program consisted of a visit to a graveyard where we discussed the ahkaam of Namaze Mayyet and performed the salat for a deceased. After that the program started in Imamia Mission with informing people about the legal procedures in London when someone passes away. A practical demonstration was done for the participants to observe how to wash and shroud a deceased body covering the ahkaam-e-mayyet by the  scholar sister Nargis Ali .This was followed by short session of question and answers . A large number of people attended the workshop and appreciated the organizers for their hard work and understanding of the much needed program.
