🔥 Hot New Flavors

Local healthy eatery and juice spot The SoupPeddler, has debuted its newest menu item. Introducing Thai Red Curry Soup, a tasty creation that’s gluten-free, vegan, and guaranteed to be the best lunch you’ll have all week. Stop by one of their multiple area locations to grab a cup, bowl, or a pint. While you're there, make sure you peep their rotating daily soup menu.

🚲 Expanding The Tribe

RIDE Indoor Cycling is finally opening up a second location in Austin! The Westlake studio will be situated on Bee Caves Road right across the street from Whole Foods, and you won’t have to wait long to check it out, either. The new digs are set to open mid-June, so stop by this summer for a class — your first ride is free!

☕️ Festival Food Forever

If you live or work downtown, it’s time to get excited because South by Southwest’s incredible new headquarters opened on Monday, and it just so happens to include an on-site cafe, SouthBites Coffee Bar. Carrying on the name from the festival’s former (and beloved) food truck, the menu features gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, grab-and-go snacks, plus an amazing lineup of classic and creative coffee drinks featuring Austin’s own Cuvée Coffee. We’ve got a feeling this is going to be your new favorite place for your morning pick-me-up.

Save the Date

Summer Sunset Series
Wanderlust Yoga Austin is hosting a Summer Sunset Series featuring yoga, live music, and community. Catch the hour-long Vinyasa flow in Republic Square park every Tuesday night at 7:30pm through the end of August.

APF’s 27th Birthday SoulCycle Charity Ride
The Austin Parks Foundation is celebrating its 27th birthday with a SoulCycle charity ride. So grab your cycling shoes and get ready to sweat for a cause. All funds will be donated to the foundation to keep Austin’s parks clean, accessible, and safe, and, depending on which ticket you buy, you could score a commemorative APF water bottle.

Boat Yoga
When the first day of summer and International Yoga Day land on the same date, there’s only one way to celebrate. Join Black Swan Yoga on a boat for an afternoon flow and dip in Lake Travis. The barge will be taking off from Anderson Mill Marina and will return around 8pm after you’ve enjoyed an afternoon on the water and the beautiful Hill Country sunset.

🍉 In Other News

It didn’t feel like summer in Austin ‘til Austin Eastciders introduced a new seasonal flavor inspired by everyone’s favorite picnic fruit: watermelon. You can try the new brew by visiting the Springdale Road taproom or by picking up a 12-can summer variety pack. Speaking of picnics, both Blues on the Green and Movies in the Park are back in full swing. Movies in the Park will host their next showing at Palm Park today (heads up, it’s Clueless), and Blues on the Green will be back in Zilker next Wednesday, June 12 for more lively music and community.

YogaPod is looking for a Studio Director to help grow their presence and take their studio to the next level. So dust of that resume and send your info to
Happy belated birthday to The Soup Peddler team member Stephanie Hunt. Here’s to another trip around the sun!
