Parent Teacher Conferences may be scheduled at the parents' request. In some cases, a teacher may reach out to you directly to schedule a time to meet with you. If a conference is not arranged, you will receive an email with detailed comments from your child's advisor or elementary teacher. Thursday, October 13 will be an early dismissal day to give time for conferences after school. To schedule a conference, follow this link to sign up for a slot on Thursday, October 13 or Friday, October 14.

Early Pick Up Procedure: Just a reminder that students who are picked up from school early need to be checked out through the office. When a parent arrives on campus and signs them out through the office, then we will call the student(s) out of class. We want to make sure that they are in class as much as possible, so this procedure avoids students waiting in the office to be picked up. We understand that things come up from time to time, and we do appreciate families scheduling appointments after school as much as possible to avoid these interruptions.
Be sure to submit your lunch orders no later than midnight before the day of your order through your Family Portal page. If you are unable to access your Family Portal, please call the school office the day before your order. We are not able to accommodate same-day lunch orders.
Based on preliminary numbers, it looks like the efforts by special interest groups to recall Universal ESA have fallen short. Keep this issue in your prayers this week!
Although we have enjoyed serving at Feed My Starving Children in the Fall for the past several years, we were unable to find an open time slot this year. We are picking a date for the spring so that we can serve together. Thanks for your patience. This annual event has not been forgotten!
We look forward to gathering for a special time of prayer on Wednesday, September 28th. We will meet in the lunch area for our time of prayer to begin at 8:00. In an effort to avoid distractions, please be sure to arrive before 8am. Elementary students will need to be accompanied by their parents. Elementary families who plan to attend should park on the north side of campus and head to the lunch tables.
Friday, September 30th is Twin Day. Students may be out of uniform, but all clothing needs to abide by personal appearance standards.  Get a friend or two or a group together and show your school spirit by dressing alike!
Due to fall break, the next gift card order will be placed Oct. 18th. Be sure to check out our inventory of gift cards in the school office available for purchase with cash or check. You can also download the free app, RaiseRight, to your phone and earn rebates anytime with e-cards and reloads of your current gift cards. It's easy to earn money for your tuition and for our school! Sign up at www.raiseright.com using enrollment code 48A9697251L6 or contact Patty Buckingham at pb_n_jb@yahoo.com for more details.
7th-12th grade students are invited to attend the 2022 Fall Formal taking place on Friday, October 28th.

The cost to attend is $70 which includes dinner, a show, and dessert. We will have a sign-up sheet in the office on Monday for at least a deposit of $35. The deposit will be needed to reserve their spot by the 30th of September. The full amount will need to be paid by October 14th.

Students will need to be at the school by 4:20. We will be eating at the Brio Italian Grille at San Tan Mall then seeing Sister Act at the Hale Theatre. After the play we will be going to Denny's on Recker and the 202 (5854 E. Longbow Pkwy) for cheesecake. Students will be picked up from Denny's at 11pm.
If you are curious about what credits are needed for graduation, what diploma options exist, and how to make the best of your high school experience, this seminar is for you! Your teen is welcome to attend with you. A High School Survival seminar will be taking place on campus on Wednesday, October 19th from 3:30-4:30. Please RSVP here so we can have materials prepared for your family.
Please note that transportation will not be provided to the fall sporting events. Players need to arrive to the field/court 30 minutes prior to game time. Jr. High and High School students can be picked up at 2:35 (M-Th) on game days or remain on campus in a study hall until 3:20.
