Anchor out in Herring Bay on July 3rd with your family and friends to enjoy this years display over the water. The show will start at dark from the jetty of Herrington Harbour South. We recommend that you allow plenty of time to comfortably get out on the water and drop your anchor in your preferred spot.

Fire Up the Grills for a 4th of July Barbeque

If you live anywhere in America, the 4th of July is synonymous with grilling out, watching fireworks and adding plenty of red, white and blue decorations for your Independence Day weekend. Fire up a grill and serve up some classic favorites. Here are some suggestions to start planning your recipes and grocery list.

56 Recipes That'll Make Sparks Fly This Fourth of July

Free Fishing Day on July 4th

Maryland is hosting the next license-free fishing day on July 4th — a free option for all anglers to fish without a license, trout stamp, or registration. On this day, any individual may catch and possess finfish in any tidal and nontidal waters of Maryland, as long as it’s for recreational purposes. All anglers must follow current size and catch limits found in the DNR fishing and crabbing guide.
