From the staff at Shipwright, we wish you a relaxing day with good company and food. The office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so we can spend time with our families. We will resume normal operations Friday, November 25th. 

This includes the outdoor showers and pump-out station. Frost free spigots are available along the B-Dock Bulkhead and F-Dock Shoreline to use at your convenience. To schedule a mobile pump-out, simply fill out the online form at least one week before your haul out.

Please contact the office if you need help locating water over the winter.

Several years ago, our friends at PropTalk conceived of a better tradition than Black Friday—they call it Blue Friday. It’s simple: on the Friday after Thanksgiving, spend time on or by the water enjoying the fresh air with family and friends. Come down to the marina to check on your boat, walk the docks, and relax around the fire pit. If you are up for an adventure, walk the boardwalks along the marsh at Jugg Bay Wetlands Sanctuary  only 9 miles from the marina.

The time is almost here to appreciate and embrace the end of boating season. For most boaters, the process of winterizing the boat is not nearly as enjoyable and exciting as preparing for launch in the spring. This years annual tree lighting will be on Saturday, December 3 at 6 pm. Shipwright sponsored a basket this year to support The Anne Arundel Waterman's Association. While at the tree lighting, look for the Shipwright basket. High's is supplying the coffee and Real Chill will serve hot cocoa. Enjoy Christmas Carols, festive dancing, and a magical visit from Santa!

Deale Christmas Tree Lighting

Registration is now open to enter your boat in the 5th Annual Deale Parade of Lights on Thursday, December 15th starting at 6 pm. This is a family friendly community event. Be creative and use lots of lights and other decorations!
