INDUSTRY INSIGHTS

HURRICANE FORECAST UPDATE

By current measures, Weather.com states that "95% of the average hurricane season activity is still left! If you think of the hurricane season like a meal at your favorite restaurant - which I miss dearly due to the COVID-19 pandemic - we've ordered our food and we're sipping on our drinks, but we haven't even had any appetizers yet."

ARE YOU HURRICANE LICENSE READY?

Do not depend on emergency licensing. Emergency licensing is limiting, complicated & temporary. We strongly recommend obtaining licenses in these heavy storm activity states so you can be compliant to work when the need arises!

Based on historical data, the 8 state licenses listed on the left we HIGHLY RECOMMEND adjusters acquire now so you are ready to be deployed!

REINSTATE HOMESTATE OR DHS LICENSE

If you have allowed your home state or DHS license to expire then we want to remind you how important it is to maintain an active resident or DHS license as it offers reciprocity to obtain other non-resident state licenses and makes you more marketable for deployments.

While losing this license does not make you ineligible to work with us, it does make it more difficult for us to consider you for work opportunities. An inactive resident or DHS license can also lead to the cancellation of your non-resident license(s) and inhibit you from obtaining new licenses down the road.

Please contact your Resident / DHS state Dept of Insurance (DOI) for information on reinstating or renewing your Resident / DHS license.
