Thoughts on clinker lapstrake dinghy design

by Peter Peal

This book explains the art of building clinker boats without the aid of using moulds or temporary frames in a story format with drawings that takes the reader back to the late 1930’s. In the second section and in more detail, instruction is given on how to build a clinker dinghy using more modern methods.

Peter also offers three dinghy designs complete with offsets. The book has a glossary explaining most of the terms and slang used in Auckland boat yards. It is full of Peters sketches and photographs and is presented in a coffee table type presentation.

Note: This book is not available from bookshops and is a limited edition!
If you would like a copy, please contact Baden Pascoe at - copies are $60 each plus courier
