CWC CULINARY AND HOSPITALITY PROGRAM
CWC - Jackson provides professional hands-on training for Culinary and Hospitality students earning an Associate of Applied Science degree through a condensed offseason program. Two internships are required in Jackson during the tourist seasons (Jun - Sept) and (Dec - Mar).
The ultimate goal is to partner with local businesses. These partnerships include internships, housing solutions, tuition reimbursement and career paths for graduates. We strive to hire highly trained executive chefs and resort managers to teach the American Hotel Lodging Association and Culinary Institute of America curriculum. We keep college tuition affordable at $11,000 for Wyoming residency.
The program has been in existence since 2007 and has utilized 17 working kitchens. We are thrilled to have identified land that will fit our academic and programmatic needs. Through SPET (Special Purpose ExciseTax), voters can authorize CWC to purchase land and design an academic facility that will include a teaching kitchen. CWC - Jackson is in the beginning stages of a capital campaign.
