Thank You for Gleaning to Benefit Others!

From May 6-9th, over 3,000 items were donated to Tikkun Ha-Ir's Glean Machine Drive!

Donors gave a variety of clothing, household and kitchen goods, toiletries, and children's items to support those living in shelters and working to get back on their feet.

At the 5 Glean Machine stops, including Congregation Emanu-El Bne Jeshurun, Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid, Congregation Shalom, Congregation Sinai and Hillel Milwaukee, around 100 people came out to drop off gently used and new items.

Special thanks to all those who make this effort possible!
Volunteers: Judy & Chuck Lerner, Joan & Bob Klein, Paula Lorant and Mel Johnson, Liz Hallrman and Laurie Seigel, Susan Ellman and Susan Armour Seidman, Peggy Glaser, Naomi Soifer, Deanna Spanjar, Norm & Sherry Malmon, Edie Pump, Chris Loke, Miriam Horowitz, Richard Bensman, Rachel Howitt, Shelley Weber, Shelley Hagen, Cindy Levy, Amy & Gary Stein. And  extra gratitude to our project leaders Cindy Cooper, Tobey & Cheryl Libber!

There was also extra dedication to the Glean Machine from families at CBINT's Fun Run/Walk, BBYO's Chapter Night, and Hillel Milwaukee's Spring Cleaning event. Thanks also to the Grand Avenue rummage sale donations! Lastly THI is so appreciative to our host site Congregation Emanu-El Bne Jeshurun and their Mitzvah day donors and volunteers!
