Bold Women. Change History.
History Colorado Center | 1200 North Broadway, Denver
This speaker series at History Colorado is about what happens when women have a seat at the table—and when they lead. On June 8, Regis University's Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion and the Colorado State Historian, Dr. Nicki Gonzales
will present (in English) “Una carte de amor para mi comunidad: A love letter to my community” at History Colorado Center. She will share her experience “celebrating, honoring, and listening to stories that ‘for too long have been pushed to the margins’ " over the past year. Learn more and get your tickets here.
Berkeley Neighborhood Association Hosts (Rescheduled) Neighborhood Cleanup
Carl Park | 54th Ave and Meade St
In partnership with Adams County Public Works, the Berkeley Neighborhood Association is coordinating a neighborhood clean-up. Residents are invited to clean up yards, the neighborhood and show support for the community. The Adams County Neighborhoods Tool Shed will be on site to lend electric lawn mowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers, hoses, shovels, buckets, wheelbarrows and more. Take this opportunity to easily dispose of tree branches, trash, building material, etc. (but not appliances, chemicals, paint, tires, or shingles).
