Fall Staff Appreciation Luncheon: October 25th

Buy a pizza for PRES teachers and staff!

Every fall during parent teacher conferences, the PTA hosts a catered Luncheon for PRES teachers and staff. The pizza, pasta, salad and other food is a small way to show our gratitude for all they do and helps the teachers get through the long day of parent-teacher conferences. This year's luncheon will be on Thursday, October 25th.

All donations of beverages and/or funds to support the luncheon are welcome. Sign up here to donate! Beverage donations should be dropped off at the front office no later than 10:30 AM on Thursday, 10/25.

Please contact Sarah O'Loughlin
with any questions. Thank you for your support!

Treats for Troops - Donate some candy: November 1st-2nd

We are excited to announce that this year, PRES will be participating in the Treats for Troops program! Please save some of your leftover Halloween candy and drop it off in the bin right inside the front entrance of the school on November 1st and 2nd, just after Halloween. We will bring the candy to the Treats for Troops location, who will ship our donated candy to deployed service members around the world or distribute to veterans in VA Hospitals across the country.

Stay tuned for more community service opportunities each month to help our students to strengthen their sense of empathy and kindness towards others.
Fifth Grade Pancake Breakfast and Raffle: November 3rd

Pancake Breakfast Raffle Ticket Sales for the 5th grade pancake breakfast on Saturday, November 3, from 8am-12pm Have Opened!

The famous pancake breakfast raffle is back! We have lots of great items this year. If you're not able to make it to the breakfast (or you'd just like get your tickets in ahead of time), please use this form to order your tickets. Feel free to pass the form on to family and friends who may want to join the fun!

This year we'll also have a silent auction at the Pancake Breakfast! Silent auction items are not available for pre-bidding -- you must bid at the event. Check out the awesome items we'll have up for bid here.

Head over to the PRES cafeteria any time between 8am-12pm and fuel up for your weekend with piles of pancakes, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and more - all served by our PRES 5th grade students. This much-loved tradition is about more than just flapjacks. Challenge friends in a Pop-a-Shot tournament; take a chance on raffle items; make a bid in our silent auction; have your face painted; and join in on the fun activities we'll have set up in the PRES gym. We'll also take a few minutes to thank "local hero" Billy Fortin for his many contributions to our school and community. All proceeds will help fund 5th grade activities. See the flyer here.
Author Visit - Doreen Cronin: November 9th

Bestselling children’s book author Doreen Cronin will visit all PRES students on Friday, November 9th. Books are available for purchase and will be autographed by the author. Order forms were sent home via back pack mail this week and can be found here. Book orders are due on October 30th. Personalized books make a wonderful gift for kids and teachers!
