Wolverhampton Under 11 Boys
I am very pleased to inform you that Wolverhampton under 11 schoolboys beat Liverpool schoolboys 3-2 this morning in the ESFA national semi final. We will play either Brighton or Lewisham in the National Final soon.
Wolverhampton Schools FA are promoting girls football in our schools and, with the boys now having reached a National Final, this should provide great encouragement that with the right support we can do similar in future years, with children in our schools.
We are still seeking help/support for our newly formed girls teams and our City boys teams as they embark upon new National Competitions from September. We have City boys teams at year 6, 7, 8 and 9 from September, and now girls teams covering the same age range.
If you know of anyone who may be interested in helping and supporting football in our schools in any way, please get in touch.
Representing schools and the City has provided some fantastic memories and experiences for children, and staff, and we want this to continue.

Back to Swimming!
As a Partnership, swimming and water safety has always been a high priority. With the pandemic meaning we have lost so much time out of the water, we need to make sure we build a programme of work to get all children back into the water safely and confidently.
WE NEED YOU!
To ensure we are building a pathway for all and we understand the barriers that are in place, we would be grateful if you could give us some feedback regarding where you are at with your plans to rebuild your swimming offer. Do you have swimming provision back in place? What obstacles are you facing with swimming? What is working? What isn’t working? Do you need extra support from the Partnership? Is your swimming data being tracked and uploaded?
Please help us to help you and ensure that no child is left behind with swimming and water safety.
*Please note - Swimming Teacher Training will be available from September 2021*
