The Village will be Lit!

Sorry – no cookies, cider, or choir this year – and we all know why.
But the Elves have completed their assignments and The Village will be brilliant!

Thank you to Dale Des Islets and his merry band of Elves (about 30 Villagers) who have worked for the past several weeks setting up the lights and decorations.
Be sure to have a walk around The Village to see the lights!

VCA General Meeting

If you missed the Village Community Association General Meeting on November 18 much of information has been posted to the VCA website.

You will find all the Executive and Committee reports, the PowerPoint presentation and the Proposed Minutes.

It was lovely to have Lord Mayor Betty Disero as our special guest. And very informative!

VCA Recognition Awards

Betty presented the VCA Recognition Awards at the General Meeting last week.
This year’s winners are Dale Des Islets and Sue Henry.

Dale for his years of work planning and co-ordinating the Christmas Lights in The Village, and Sue for her work on keeping Village residents informed with the VCA Newsletter and Website.

The Village Business Centre Plan

The NOTL Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake Urban Design Committee was presented with the revised plans for The Village Business Centre. The meeting was held October 27, 2020 and the recording of the meeting is available through the Town website.

Residents of the town and The Village will be excited to know the coming plans!

New Neighbours in The Village

There is a new store opening next to Garrison House. Handmade Presence is a lovely gift shop with all handmade items.
Opening Friday November 27. Hours are 11 to 6 most days, closed Mondays. Stop by to see all the lovely items. Let’s welcome the new neighbours!

Need some treats?

St Andrews Presbyterian Church of Niagara-on-the-Lake continues its tradition of selling “Christmas Cookies by the Pound”. Join us for the CRUISE-BY COOKIE SALE.
This year, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Newark Neighbors.

WHEN: Saturday, December 12, 10-12 noon.
WHERE: Curb-side, 323 Simcoe Street, St Andrews Presbyterian Church, NOTL
Please join the line of cars, and our Elves will deliver to your car at a safe distance.

WHAT: Boxes of assorted Christmas cookies.
COST: $20 per box (Approx. 1lb)
PAYMENT: Exact change only, please.
