Spring AGM – May 15 – Save the date!

Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled for May 15 at the Community Centre.
We’ll review and approve our financial statements and elect new members to our Executive Team.
We’ll also review activities that the VCA has been involved in over the past 6 months.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Renew your membership!

Annual $30 membership is now due.  Please note the membership fee has not been increased as discussed at the February AGM year.  Why?  Because we have a growing number of members joining the Association.  Thanks for that!  If we can keep membership numbers up – we don’t need to increase the membership fee!  (Easy math…. We like it!)

Write a chequeTwo ways to renew your membership:
Come to the AGM – stand in line, wait your turn, stand around filling out the form, write your cheque or give us cash, wait for your new membership card, join the meeting.
Download the form from this message - print it out, fill it out, write your cheque, drop it off at the home of one of the VCA Executive members.
We’ll drop your new membership card.  Come to the meeting.

Drop off your membership form and cheque to:
  • Randy Churchill, 41 Brock St.
  • Mark Green, 54 Brock St.
  • Sue Henry, 38 Macdonell Rd.
We’d love you to fill out the form and drop your form and cheque to one of the address above to save the crowd at the membership desk at the start of the meeting.
Hint, Hint…  Download the membership form

Spring is here!

And how do we know?  By the number of poop bags flung in to the Ravine!
Our neighbours have been out cleaning up the path along the Ravine and hauled out the usual spring harvest of litter that accumulates over the winter.  But they were dismayed to collect over 20 green bags of dog poop (and counting) tossed along the way.  Seriously?  Someone picks up the poop in a bag – and then tosses in in the ravine?

Thank you to Karen Brown of Cooley Lane and her neighbours who spend their Saturday morning cleaning up the litter along the path.
Good work team and thanks for your initiative!
