Time to renew or join the Village Community Association

Thank you to everyone one who has renewed their VCA membership. And for those new members who have just joined as well.

You might have noticed that volunteers dropped off a yellow flyer at your door this past week. This is a reminder that it’s time to renew your yearly VCA membership, which expires the end of this month.

Response has been great so far!!! Randy Churchill, our Membership Co-ordinator, has been receiving membership renewals and new sign-ups all week.

Awesome! That will greatly reduce the line-up at the renewal desk at the VCA Annual General Meeting on April 17.

On-line Option to Join or Renew

This is the first year we have had an on-line membership option. You can go to the VCA website and complete the membership application on-line – then e-transfer the $30 fee via your bank. Done – you never even had to leave the house!
Here’s the steps:

Go to thevillagenotl.ca/join
Complete the form
Send an E-transfer from your bank to InformationVCA@gmail.com
- $30 per household per year
Send the bank security question answer to the same email address
DONE

Or – you can go old-school and drop your application and cheque to Randy at 41 Brock St.

Either way we appreciate your early renewal which will move things along at the door at the AGM on April 17

Reminder – AGM

We have lots to tell you about at the AGM.
VCA governance, advocacy, social activities survey (Please complete by April 10).
PLUS…. John and Adam Hawley will provide you with an update on the Village Business Centre.

Date: Wednesday, April 17
Time: 7 pm
Location: The Old Winery Restaurant – Lower Level

Please come early and enjoy dinner in the Restaurant at 5:30 (reservations are required.)

The restaurant has provided their lower dining room for the VCA meeting at no cost – but are asking that we not to use the main parking lot.
Maybe a walk over is a good idea! You can use the parking lot across the street if you prefer to drive over.
