Both Members of the VCA and
non-members are welcome.

Time:       6:30 – doors open

    Join as a new member for 2017-2018 year
  • $30 cheque please
      7:00 – meeting starts

Name:   Ron McKenzie
Nominated for:   Treasurer
Candidate Information:
Ron is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified General Accountant (CGA).  He spent his career working in taxation in both the public and private sectors.   His volunteer experiences include serving as a trustee of the Markham Public Library Board and as an executive member of the Durham-Trent CGA Chapter.  He is now retired, and has been serving as the Treasurer of the VCA since October, 2016.
 

Name:   Sue Henry
Nominated for:   Corresponding Officer
Candidate Information:
Sue is a recent resident in the village, moving into Phase V in December, 2017.  She currently serves on the VCA Executive as the Corresponding Officer.  Her background is teaching and corporate communications, focusing on web and other electronic platforms.  Sue has been retired for five years and has kept busy by serving on several crafting guild boards as an Executive.

 

Recording Officer Position – no candidates
Position Description:

Recording Officer (approximately 6 hours per Month)
To prepare notices of all meetings, to attend, take notes and keep records of all meetings of the VCA Executive and Membership, and to maintain the official Minute Book of the VCA.

This is an ideal position to learn about the community and to participate in the VCA.
