The Village Centre – What’s happening?

HawleyHave you been following NOTL Council meetings or keeping up to date on NOTL news through the local newspapers?  If so, you know that The Village is about to grow again.
Developer John Hawley has confirmed that building will begin in January, 2021 on 3 apartment buildings.  “They will be located at the entrance of Niagara Stone Road and Garrison Village Drive” said John.  “We are working with architect and urban designer Andrés Duany and his team on the design.  The buildings will blend in nicely with other homes in The Village.”
He is also working on The Village Centre, a retail area that will tie in the live-work-play concept of the area.  The final plans are being worked on.  “A special meeting will be held early in the new year in order to bring all Village residents up to date on our plans.  We are very excited about adding this key piece to the area.”
John recently invested in our (and his) community by very generously purchasing holiday snowflakes on top of the street lights at the entrance of The Village.  Thanks John!
He has always had a very close working relationship with the Village Community Association and is looking forward to sharing his plans with everyone very soon.  Stay tuned as we will be confirming details of the upcoming meeting in the new year.
