LYNN’S LIST FOR DECEMBER 21, 2020
The Steering Committee of Georgia Women wants to stress the importance of emails and calls to elected officials. We realize that it seems that your voice isn’t heard, but silence is complicity. Now is not the time to be silent. Our elected officials are supposed to represent all of us so they need to hear from all of us, not just the ones with the loudest voices.
As a follow up on last week’s Lynn’s List, if Dale Washburn is your Georgia General Assembly Representative and he has not responded to your request for information about irregularities in Georgia’s election, send him this email: I am your constituent from -----. I have not heard back from you regarding your signature on a petition asking for a special session to deal with many issues regarding the Georgia Election system. I would like to know what those issues are since the press releases from the Governor, the Secretary of State, the election supervisor and cybersecurity officials all say the election was secure and there was no fraud.
Fair and Representative Elections
The Senate runoff and the runoff for Public Service Commission District 4 IS TUESDAY JANUARY 5, 2021.
Check the status of your absentee ballot request at mvp.sos.ga.gov. Some absentee ballots have already been mailed so be on the lookout for yours. If you haven’t received yours, contact the Board of Elections. If you live outside of Bibb County, contact your local Board of Elections.
If you plan to vote in person, the Board of Elections employees will be wearing masks. Masks are not required for voters, however, so be sure to be safe.
