Alzheimer's & Dementia®: The Journal of the Alzheimer's Association上的一項研究發現,連續三年每天服用綜合維生素補充劑可顯著減少老年人的認知老化。

November is Alzheimer's Awareness Month, so let's show support for the 6.2 million Americans with this life-changing condition.
Alzheimer's affects 10.7% of 65 and older Americans. By 2050, 12.7 million individuals 65 and older could have Alzheimer's disease if we don't take action to prevent or find a cure for its effects. Alzheimer's is fatal and causes memory loss. Alzheimer's and other types of dementias kill more elderly Americans than breast and prostate cancer combined.
Most caregivers of Alzheimer's patients are relatives: one-third of caregivers are patients' daughters and 30% were 65 or older. Alzheimer's affects a caregivers' mental and physical well-being, as they are twice as likely to have significant emotional, financial, and health issues.
Alzheimer's has substantial healthcare and long-term care expenditures. These patients are twice as likely as other older individuals to visit the hospital each year for long-term illnesses.
The U.S. needs roughly triple the number of geriatricians to care for Alzheimer's patients by 2050 and healthcare systems are not prepared for this high requirement.
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is an early sign of Alzheimer's disease. Its mild changes don't impact daily activities. However, one-third of MCI patients develop Alzheimer's within five years.
12%–18% of persons aged 60 or older have MCI, yet public awareness is so low that it's considered "normal aging." Most people don't see a doctor until their symptoms worsen and it is too late.
Early detection and treatment are key. Early intervention allows patients more time to adopt lifestyle changes, engage in clinical studies, and live a longer and healthier life.

<My Life Is Worth Living> is a series of animated short films made by legendary Hollywood producer Terry Thoren (creator of the Simpsons, Rugrats, and other animation series) to promote adolescent mental health and prevent suicide. Terry feels that animation has the potential to help young people in ways that other media cannot.
All videos are available in Chinese, allowing parents to find an effective and compassionate bridge for parent-child dialogue while watching with their children.
Series 1 (Amie's story): Amie, who is academically gifted, diligent, and self-disciplined, suddenly succumbs to unpleasant feelings. She feels out of place and felt as if she was a burden on her family and friends. She begins considering suicide. What happened to Amie?

💉💉💉💉💉
On October 23, the "New York Times" projected that this winter will see a "triple epidemic of COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)." This is due to the fact that the majority of the restrictions on COVID-19 have been lifted, and travel and social activities have resumed.
While most COVID-19, flu, and RSV cases are minor, they have the potential to infect millions of Americans and overburden hospitals. The quantity of patients is currently overwhelming children's hospitals in various states.
While coronavirus and flu vaccines do not totally prevent infection, they do provide the best protection against severe disease and mortality according to public health experts. The elderly and immunocompromised people are the most vulnerable. Children are particularly susceptible to flu and RSV because their immune systems are weakened.
Please make an appointment today at myturn.ca.gov or go directly to pharmacies and clinics for your and your family's health.
Find out more about the COVID-19 boosters.

FOTB(Fresh Of The Boat),而被取消文化再次傷害,並遭到亞裔社區排擠和攻擊。
☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️
Chinese-American Hollywood star Constance Wu recently opened up about something that has been bothering her for a long time. She had been the target of sexual harassment but when she found the courage to speak out after years of silence, only to be met with backlash from online commenters. Later, she felt the sting of cancel culture yet again when the Asian community rejected and attacked her because she had decided not to renew the Netflix TV series FOTB (Fresh Off The Boat) about Asian immigrants.
Wu became severely depressed as a result of everything that happened, and she considered suicide by jumping out of a window. She was silent for three years while undergoing drug treatment and psychological rebuilding, but she recently broke her silence by returning to social media and speaking openly about her experience in the hopes of inspiring others who have undergone something similar.
If you or someone close to you is having suicidal thoughts, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (988) for confidential emotional assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
