Social Justice Shabbat

Yosl Kurland will lead a Shabbat Service this Friday, January 17, at 7 PM with a special focus on social justice. Poems, songs and prayers from world traditions about justice and the human spirit will be followed by kiddush refreshments.

Workshop on the Sacred Work of Grief

Sher Sweet invites you to an exploration of ideas presented in Francis Weller's book The Wild Edge of Sorrow. This workshop will include Sher's presentation of key ideas in the book, discussion and writing exercises. Sher is a spiritual counselor for Hospice.
Join us on Monday, January 27th, 6:30-8:30. Light refreshments will be provided.

Mark your calendars for a special dynamic improv workshop with Mandy Anderson of Happier Valley Comedy Theater. Sunday, February 9, 5-7 PM, Temple Israel's Real Teen Theater Group invites thespians of all ages to join in as Mandy  leads all comers in playful and fun theater games, improv exercises, character and monologue building and more. No experience necessary. Join us!

Sinai Temple in Springfield is pleased to announce a special musical Shabbat with the Jewish Chorus of Western Massachusetts, Mak'hela, February 7, 2020 at 7:00 PM. Sinai Temple, 1100 Dickinson St, Springfield, MA. Admission is free and open to the public.
