Upcoming Events At A Glance...

Shabbat Picnic

This Friday, August 23 is our Shabbat Picnic at Green River Recreation Area! Come at 4:30 to learn from Maggid David Arfa about the Shretelech, the magical little people of Eastern European Jewish legend. Children of all ages will love searching the woods for signs of the Shretelech. We'll gather at the pavilion at 5:30 for Shabbat dinner on the grill and blessings. All are welcome!

Shabbat Service on the Green

Saturday, August 31, 10 AM: Come one, come all to a sing-a-long celebration at the Greenfield Common. Music sets, chants, sing-alongs and readings will be raised up at this non-traditional Sabbath service. We the People are the featured musicians for this particular Farmer's Market. Bring drums and invite your friends!

We use focused, direct email lists to get the word out about our programming. If you are interested in a particular topic and would like to be added to the sublist for it, please let us know!

  • Singers: Self-explanatory. We share opportunities to practice and sing.
  • Hesed/Lovingkindness Group: Visit Jewish residents at The Arbors, 2nd and 4th Friday AM at 10:30. Discussion, films, shabbat blessings.
  • Refugee Support: Tap into local and national activism, advocacy and direct support for migrants.
  • Gleaning: We glean Sunday mornings at 8-9AM and sporadic salvage harvests of crops and fruits.
  • Adult Ed: Receive announcements about classes and workshops.
  • Ritual: Service announcements.
  • Roots & Branches: Information on programming for families with young children.

Weekly Vigil in Support of Detainees at the Border

The Refugee Support Project invites all to join us on The Commons each Saturday at 10 AM to stand in support of asylum seekers at our borders. For more information, contact Liz Kelner - 575-779-0282 or
