Ethiopian Young Lawyers Association









Ethiopian Young Lawyers Association (EYLA) was established by fresh law school graduates eight years ago. The Association has an objective of promoting efficient administration of justice through the participation of the youth. EYLA focuses on human rights and rule of law, proposing amendments and the promulgation of new laws, non-partisanship in politics, and providing free legal aid to the needy. More information about EYLA here

Fatoumatta A Jallow is an ambitious girl who wants to contribute to the socioeconomic development of her country. She yearns for a better Gambia and Africa and has served in many voluntary organizations. She believes in talking less and listening more, and hopes to be President one day!

In Conversation With....









Eric Nkinzingabo is Youth Network Coordinator at SDSN Youth for the Great Lakes Region of Africa. His activities include leading a team of SDG coordinators at various SDSN member institutions as well as engaging with other youth organizations in its membership program. He chatted with NAYD CFPs last month - the full conversation can be read here  (NAYD is in active collaboration with SDSN Youth via a facebook WORKPLACE environment to help promote and support youth-led sustainable development in African rural communities.)

The African Union Youth Division plans to hold a series of tweet chats targeting issues such as Peace and Security and Youth, Silencing the Guns in Africa, Ending Child Marriage, How Youth can be the Future Today, Migration, Corruption etc. NAYD's media editor Judyannet Muchiri will host the chat on @NAYDinfo using the #NAYDchat
