Net Neutrality as we know it is probably ending, and even if the FCC somehow reverses course this time, there will always be a next time, as long as we allow the whims of politicians and their donors to decide who deserves access to the internet.

Motherboard at Vice has a plan to wrest control from the big companies and hand it over to communities, putting local folks in control of their own networks by freely sharing information on how to do just that. It's smart, it's generous, and it's just what we need these days.
