Providing a safe haven for unwanted babies in Nairobi

Welcome ...
to the new look Hope House Babies Home newsletter. Feel free to read and keep up to date with everything that is going on at Hope House.
Hope House Babies Home provides a place of safety & comfort for babies who have been abandoned for a variety of reasons. Our aims are to care for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the babies and to place the children lawfully into good families via adoption.

Fun Activities and Learning for Toddlers

Play dough activity time

As our toddlers are now 2 and 3 years of age, we have set up daily age appropriate educational programs. They enjoy these learning times and know exactly when it is their time to go to the activity room

Adopt-a cot Sponsorship Program

When you adopt-a-cot through Hope House Babies Home you will be linked with a child for the duration of their stay at Hope House.

Hope House receives no financial support from the Kenyan Government but relies completely on the generosity of supporters. Your support will help to provide everything they need, from food and diapers to medical care and even fun outings. You will be emailed reports every 3 months on their progress.

Thank you to all of our supporters who are currently sponsoring the babies through the adopt-a-cot program.

How do I adopt a cot?

Accountants Report

A big thank you to all our supporters, local and international, who have made it possible to maintain the home for the past 3 months. The majority of the finances came from Kenya, Australia, UK, Sweden, Germany. Many local groups and individuals have donated physical items such as food.

Our new Adopt-a-cot program has been very positive as we now have more people giving the extra amounts. At this time, we are up to date with paying bills and salaries until the end of March. Our challenge now is for the next quarter which includes house rent on the home, salaries, utilities, food, etc.

I am now appealing to you all again for your further support so that we can continue giving quality care to our precious babies.

Thank you and God bless you,
Margaret Njuguna.
