2017 is already proving to be a busy year for us and in this issue we bring you details of our forthcoming events, a new face in the team and developments as part of our programmes of work. We are also excited to launch our Innovation Exchange, providing a link between those interested in working on innovative healthcare projects throughout the region and nationally.

Launch of the AHSN NENC Innovation Exchange

We are pleased to announce the launch of our Innovation Exchange. The AHSN NENC Innovation Exchange features over 50 regional health innovation case studies from NHS and industry.

A number of practices in our region have implemented the AliveCor project as part of the AHSN Atrial Fibrillation programme.

North East Frailty Summit 2016

The North East Frailty Summit took place on the 5th December and was organised in collaboration with the Newcastle Gateshead CCG Care Home Vanguard.

The event was very well received with over 300 delegates attending. A video from the day along with event resources are now available on our website.
