Raise Your Voice for Student Mental Health and Wellbeing!

The week of May 2-8 is Children's Mental Health Awareness Week, and we are using the first day of the week for outreach to our legislators and sharing success stories from Wisconsin's comprehensive school-based mental health programs!

Need talking points? Check out the SMH Policy Priorities here!

Find your legislator! On May 3, share your success story from your local comprehensive school mental health program. Click here and enter your home address under "Who are my legislators?"

Send an email or make a call! Tips on advocacy.

  • Remember to connect using your personal time, phone line and/or email address.

  • Share something about your work, organization, and expertise

  • Explain why this matters to you

  • Explain why this matters to the state

  • Share how you pivoted your supports for students during the pandemic and what your students need now

Share on social media! See here for some images to share, or check out WAFCA's social media below!
