Our Program Steering Committee

YWWOP is advised by a Steering Committee which is comprised of a mix of operators, and government and private business representatives. The committee's expert advice helps YWWOP determine what training, services and activities are needed, and what will be required in the future.

To see the list of committee members and the terms of reference, visit our program web page.

The Steering Committee represents YWWOP stakeholders - if you have any comments or suggestions that you wish to be considered, please contact the YWWOP Steering Committee.
Funding for Employers
Government of Yukon has expanded their Staffing UP program to include a wage subsidy option to help employers hire new workers. Wages, employment-related costs (EI, CPP and WCB) and training costs may be funded. Find out more here
If you are an individual in need of financial support to find work or learn a new skill, check out Government of Yukon's Working UP program.
YWWOP classes and EOCP exam sessions can be facilitated at any Yukon University campus or in your community on an on-demand basis. Alternatively, YWWOP classes are available online via video conference.
