International Colloquium on Black Males in Education

The International Colloquium on Black Males in Education (ICBME) is a social innovation platform designed to embolden the educational experiences of Black males across the globe by utilizing high quality research and policy recommendations. Given the significance of the educational pipeline and trajectory of Black Males to various societal challenges, the Pre-Colloquium focuses on targeted local support strategies through the College Academy (e.g., high school students), the Graduate School Academy (e.g., undergraduate and graduate students), Community Conversations (e.g., local concerned citizens) and the Policy Round Table (e.g., local, national and international policy makers).

Colloquium programming enables participants to interact with peers from other institutions and develop a global network of contacts and collaborators. The Colloquium's Awards Banquet serves to acknowledge and highlight the achievements of individuals who have been integral to the advancement of positive educational outcomes for Black males. In order to offer these types of programs, as well as to provide the necessary support to manage other aspects of the Colloquium, financial support from generous individuals and organizations is essential.

By supporting the 5th Annual International Colloquium on Black Males in Education, you are directly contributing to positive educational outcomes and opportunities for Black males throughout the world. The theme for this year's Colloquium is "Educational Transitions and Life Trajectories: Bridging Pathways to Success for Black Males." In return for your contribution to the Colloquium, you or your organization will receive acknowledgement and other benefits based upon your level of support.

Several sponsorship packages are available ranging from $500 - $25,000. By purchasing a Supporter Level Package, you will be one of many allies providing assistance to fund Pre-Colloquium events such as the College Academy or one of our Signature Events that include the Opening Reception and Awards Banquet. By becoming a Colloquium Co-Sponsor, you will receive benefits such as the opportunity for a promotional video of your organization to be shown during the Colloquium and tickets to VIP events where you can network with keynote speakers and other prominent attendees. The benefits associated with each package can be found on the Colloquium Sponsorship page.

If you are interested in promoting your organization to the diverse group of constituents who attend the Colloquium, we offer an opportunity to have a promotional table in the resource area located outside the main meeting room of the Colloquium. This opportunity also includes two complimentary registrations. Additionally, various sizes of full-color program advertisements that will be published in our electronic program book are available for purchase. For more information on sponsorship packages, or if you would like to discuss customizing a promotional package, please email icbme@wcer.wisc.edu.

We hope you will consider supporting the Colloquium and encourage others to do the same.
