We were hopeful to share an early photo of the guitar...
but it will have to be part of the December Newsletter.
As Tas mentioned, when he announced this a Week ago...
  • Rob is a keen observer of the oddest of human behavior
  • His sense of humor is part Mark Twain/Seinfeld/Dave Chapelle
  • He contributes to Tas' fitness regime by on occasion letting Tas carry his gigunda Orange bass amp
  • He is a true connoisseur of junk food who simultaneously expounds upon its evils while extolling its awesomeness
  • His natural finish bass matches Tas' natural finish guitar
  • He’s a lefty – Tas is a righty, which makes for perfect on stage visual symmetry
  • He’s willing to drive the van
  • He plays Tas' originals so well
  • Rob is a cool dude, a great musician and indeed a badass bass player
Since the beginning of September, Tas has performed in New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama & Florida.

There might have been more, but Tas blocked out two weeks to prepare his home for a special occasion...The Marriage Of His Daughter

"Father/daughter dance - as the band played and we danced to Soul Shine,
the best man slid a chair out and after seating my daughter there,
I grabbed the ol Strat and ripped off a solo for her.
She told me years ago I would not be allowed to play at her wedding
HA! I guess her tears of joy meant that it was ok after all!. Who loves ya' girl?!"
Dick Earl & Tas ripping it on stage at The Daytona Blues Festival.
Tas was also Jam Master on Saturday & Sunday and here you see him with Pat Harrington, who happens to be the young man in the video from our last newsletter.  Pat now plays with Victor Wainwright & The Train.
The local paper put up a 1-minute video from the Festival...
and it was while Tas was on stage!

One of the last stops on the run...Daniel Day Gallery in Birmingham.
Never been there?  YOU HAVE TO GO...
Great Sunday music and food in an intimate outdoor setting
with the nicest bunch of folks.
Daniel & Melody are the best hosts!
With special guests Mick Kolassa and Lauren Mitchell.. Miss Sassy Brown herself!
Ms. Melody joined in on her Flute
Tas is back in the studio now, continuing to work on the new music.  There will be a couple of guests on this album, adding their special talents to the new music.
Early 2018 is the expected release date.
Tas has been asked to be a part of the Alexis P Suter Only Love is Real Blues Benefit for Hurricane Maria on November 21st at the B.B. King Blues Club and Grill on 42nd street in NYC. He is performing with the Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir and the song he will perform is the ONLY song he has ever recorded and not written...The sensational "Higher & Higher" made famous by Jackie Wilson.

Then, he will be continuing to work on the album through the end of the year...with two dates in Canada this month
