FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DELANEY GUITARS ANNOUNCES NEW ENDORSED ARTIST – TAS CRU
BASTROP (AUSTIN), TX: Delaney Guitars is proud to announce its newest endorsed artist, Tas Cru. Based out of upstate New York, Cru performs in a variety of formats ranging from solo acoustic to a 7 peace-backing band. His music is heard regularly on blues radio worldwide, including Sirius/SM’s BB King’s Bluesville. In addition, Cru brings his award-winning Blues Education programs and workshops to numerous schools, hospitals, and community centers.
“Tas is writing and playing some of the best blues around today. He’s a diversified bluesman, a great player, a good showman, and a really nice guy. He’s a great addition to the Delaney Guitars family!” said Mike Delaney, owner of Delaney Guitars.
“I am truly honored to join the Delaney Guitars family of contemporary blues artists that include Mike Zito, Albert Castiglia, Samantha Fish, and others,” said Cru.
Production of Tas Cru’s first Delaney Guitar, a Jagata model, has just begun. According to Mike, Delaney Guitars will be sharing photos as the build progresses on its social media pages.
Tas plans on debuting his new Delaney in Memphis at his annual Rum Boogie International Blues Challenge Jam in January 2018.
About Delaney Guitars: Delaney Guitars was founded by Mike Delaney, a guitarist who has played rock, blues, soul, rhythm & blues, and funk for 40 plus years from Los Angeles to Atlanta and shared the stage with many big names in the industry. Mike began experimenting with the guitar building process in October 1999 out of frustration with inconsistencies in workmanship and quality that he found in the mass-produced guitars available in stores. Using his woodworking background along with his experience as a guitarist, Mike started building his own guitars. Other musicians took notice and started asking Mike to build guitars for them. He hasn't stopped since.
