The Water Productivity Open Access Portal, or WaPOR, is an open-access tool that uses satellite data to monitor agricultural land- and water productivity throughout Africa and the Middle East region.
Developed by the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), with support from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, WaPOR helps monitor in near-real time a wide range of data related to water productivity—such as biomass, evapotranspiration, land cover, precipitation, and temperature. The data is available at Continental (250 m), National (100 m), and Sub-National (30 m) resolutions.
WapOR is for a wide range of people: farmers, irrigation scheme managers, policymakers, governments, and academics, to name a few. Is it something for you? Explore it and find out athttps://wapor.apps.fao.org/
