Hey Divers,

What a crazy few weeks this has been, huh.

We know everyone's been trying to adapt quickly to the new online-only classes. For many of us at diversIT, it was only in a situation like this that we realised how important on-campus classes and activities can be for students. The Faculty of IT has been redoubling their efforts and doing what they can for IT students, from afar.

With this in mind, we're proud to announce the launch of the diversIT Discord! Read more about that below...

This also means that along with all other campus activities, our events for the semester are cancelled/postponed until further notice. Rest assured, we and our collaborators are still focusing our efforts on bringing you guys fun and useful events - just remotely!

We also recognise that the lack of face-to-face contact with fellow students, and the fact that all uni work is now done at home, means that ensuring the mental health of our peers is now a bigger priority than ever. If you need a chat, or just want to shoot the breeze with some new folks, we made the Discord server with this in mind too. We hope to see you all there!

Stay safe out there, folks! Until next edition :)

Join the MEGA Minecraft FB Group!
Our friends at MEGA have launched a brand spanking new Minecraft server, in what they call "the most anticipated event of 2020"!
