With countless items being left on nature strips or in the rubbish and ending up in landfill, charityBay also helps to give these items a second life and reduce our impact on the environment. To help with their goals, they are seeking a front end web developer volunteer. In this role, there is ample opportunity for growth as you will have be working closely with a mentor alongside senior leadership.

According to a 2020 StackOverflow Survey, software developers are 70% white and 92% male, leaving people of colour and women largely underrepresented in this space. In a world where hacker culture is unfriendly to women, and female leads are discriminated and made to doubt their professional abilities, we need to do better to make the software developer community a safer and more inclusive space.
