diversIT Semester 2 Recruitment

 09/05  Applications for the Semester 2, 2021 committee are now open. If you're passionate about helping the community and want to get more involved at uni, this is the perfect opportunity for you join us. We have positions available in both our Marketing and Events team. Coffee with diversIT Initiative

The Coffee with diversIT catch-up sessions are a way for IT students to connect with members of the diversIT committee and have a chat regarding their studies, future career pathways and aspirations and anything related to IT. We will be running this initiative until the end of this semester! Women in Technology Alumni Mentoring Program - Celebration Event

Women in Technology (WIT) Alumni Mentoring program is returning for the third year in 2021. WIT Alumni Mentoring program aims to increase involvement and success of women and non-binary students in IT.

In light of the International Women’s Day celebrations last month, Kaspersky’s recent Women in Tech report, highlights the evolution of women in technology. The report emphasises how many companies are benefiting from having diversity in their workforces, and digital competencies are helping to close the gender gap within the workplace. Although the progress of women playing an equal role in the development of technology has vastly improved over the years, there is still a long way to go.
